  • Beam was founded by Jane back in May 2020 following a 15 year career in property.

    Eight of those years were spent as an executive assistant for the CEO of listed commercial and residential property funds, followed by PA roles in the mortgage industry and Investor Relations Manager for a London resi developer.

    A landlord herself, Jane also co-founded and ran the operations for Podville, a unique office concept created from upcycled shipping containers. The first development was launched in Bristol in 2018.

  • Since Beam was founded back in May 2020, Taran has been supporting Jane with Beam’s growth behind the scenes.

    Taran built a successful career in sales and sales leadership until leaving the corporate world to work within the startup ecosystem as a mentor. Over the last 10 years he has written two books and been behind several startups. Taran looks after our sales pipeline and commercial partnerships.

  • With a 20 year career in lettings, property & project management, including setting up a property management office in Central London from scratch, Ellie has a vast knowledge of the industry and works with Beam’s clients on agency operations, set-up and turnaround as well as lettings and property management.

    A landlord herself, Ellie knows the importance of having an organised and well-cared-for portfolio!

  • Following 20+ years in the property industry across multiple disciplines, with Georgina you just know you are in very capable hands!

    A true executive assistant and excellent ‘gatekeeper’, she has a very high level of property knowledge gained from running her own property services business, working as a portfolio manager for a property investment company and as head of completions in the affordable homes sector.

  • Melissa’s expertise over the last 15 years in property covers both residential and commercial lettings, including block management and service charge management. She supports our property investor clients with their mixed portfolios, as their trusted right hand person with all things lettings and property management.

  • Lena's 12 year property career spans both sales and lettings in estate agency, and managing the private portfolios of HNW clients in London and Cyprus.

    PRINCE2 project management qualified, Lena is a natural organiser when it comes getting our clients' operations ship-shape and keeping their construction projects on track as well as handling everything lettings and property management for their portfolios.

  • A true admin angel with a warm personality, she loves to take clients’ portfolios and tenants under her wing and quickly get them running smoothly and compliantly.

    Karen spent the first part of her career as a corporate PA before becoming a virtual assistant 5 years ago. Her first VA client tasked her with managing a portfolio of 50 properties, and that's when her love for property management began.

  • With an 18-year career in property administration across lettings, sales, holiday lets and construction, Alix brings a wealth of operational experience to the team. A former Royal Navy Petty Officer, she combines strong leadership, attention to detail and a solutions-focused approach.

    Alix has managed residential and commercial portfolios, reclaimed properties from letting agents and coordinated refurbishments, contractors and compliance processes. Highly organised and naturally proactive, she enjoys untangling complex workflows and creating reliable systems that keep clients’ portfolios running smoothly.

  • Carla is an experienced lettings and property management professional with nearly two decades in the industry, including over 10 years managing licensed HMOs. ARLA Level 3 qualified, she offers our clients expertise across all areas of lettings, compliance, maintenance and tenant management.

    Before setting up independently, Carla’s background included end-to-end responsibility within lettings agency, facilities management, property management and social housing.

  • With over 20 years of experience as a solicitor and a seasoned property developer, Mandeep brings specialist legal expertise and a comprehensive understanding of property law to our team. Her dual perspective, both legal and commercial, ensures that clients receive expert guidance on complex property matters, from planning and development to dispute resolution.

    As a former branch manager for agencies both nationwide and independent, Lea knows what it takes to successfully manage a portfolio AND run a thriving lettings business.

    Always calm, focused and highly organised, Lea enjoys working with clients to transform their compliance standards and operations across their property businesses.

  • Gemma has over 13 years industry experience - as a portfolio landlord, within agency and running a property services business. She holds an ARLA Level 3 qualifications in Lettings and Property Management and has worked hands-on across the full property lifecycle, combining formal agency experience with real-world landlord insight.

    A self-confessed geek when it comes to compliance and legislation, Gemma began her property journey as a landlord, building and managing her own portfolio. She subsequently joined an independent estate agency, gaining broad exposure to both sales and lettings and more recently set up her own inventory & inspection service alongside her VA work.

  • After starting her career as a lettings negotiator in a small independent agency over 10 years ago, Szilvia progressed into senior property management and training roles, earning multiple company performance awards along the way. Szilvia now supports Beam’s clients with day to day lettings management as well as project work around systems, compliance and operational processes.

  • With a career spanning 20 years in lettings & compliance, Hannah’s experience includes growing a lettings agency into a market leader to managing multi-branch operations, compliance crisis-solving for a national lettings franchise group, and, as part of her role working with a landlord association, running landlord helplines, speaking at council events and delivering guidance on EPC and legislation changes.

    As well as a deep understanding of the lettings legislation and enjoyment of the day to day operations, Hannah excels at conflict resolution, team leadership, and compliance management, and is passionate about supporting landlords and tenants through clear communication and practical advice.

  • Laura is a UK-based VA with a strong background in residential lettings, built over eight years working within established London agencies in areas such as Chelsea and Marylebone. During this time she gained hands-on experience across the full lettings cycle, including enquiries, viewings, negotiations, tenant referencing, AML checks, tenancy administration and coordination with property management and maintenance teams.

    As well as being a portfolio landlord herself, Laura holds a Bachelor of Law degree with a focus on property law and has also completed her ARLA qualification, giving her a solid understanding of the legal and compliance aspects of the lettings process. Laura prides herself on her thorough approach to tenant referencing and her ability to assess applications carefully and responsibly.
