Beam was founded by Jane back in May 2020 following a 15 year career in property.
Eight of those years were spent as an executive assistant for the CEO of listed commercial and residential property funds, followed by PA roles in the mortgage industry and Investor Relations Manager for a London resi developer.
A landlord herself, Jane also co-founded and ran the operations for Podville, a unique office concept created from upcycled shipping containers. The first development was launched in Bristol in 2018.

With a 20 year career in lettings, property & project management, including setting up a property management office in Central London from scratch, Ellie has a vast knowledge of the industry and works with Beam’s clients on agency operations, set-up and turnaround as well as lettings and property management.
A landlord herself, Ellie knows the importance of having an organised and well-cared-for portfolio!

Since Beam was founded back in May 2020, Taran has been supporting Jane with Beam’s growth behind the scenes.
Taran built a successful career in sales and sales leadership until leaving the corporate world to work within the startup ecosystem as a mentor. Over the last 10 years he has written two books and been behind several startups. Taran looks after our sales pipeline and commercial partnerships.

A true executive assistant and excellent ‘gatekeeper’, she has a very high level of property knowledge gained from running her own property services business, working as a portfolio manager for a property investment company and as head of completions in the affordable homes sector.

Melissa’s expertise over the last 15 years in property covers both residential and commercial lettings, including block management and service charge management. She supports our property investor clients with their mixed portfolios, as their trusted right hand person with all things lettings and property management.

Lena's 12 year property career spans both sales and lettings in estate agency, and managing the private portfolios of HNW clients in London and Cyprus.
PRINCE2 project management qualified, Lena is a natural organiser when it comes getting our clients' operations ship-shape and keeping their construction projects on track as well as handling everything lettings and property management for their portfolios.

A true admin angel with a warm personality, she loves to take clients’ portfolios and tenants under her wing and quickly get them running smoothly and compliantly.
Karen spent the first part of her career as a corporate PA before becoming a virtual assistant 5 years ago. Her first VA client tasked her with managing a portfolio of 50 properties, and that's when her love for property management began.

Judith brings care, attention and high standards to our clients' properties and tenants, she is a stickler for compliance and correct procedure and loves to work with landlords who need to get things back on track.
Before becoming a property VA a decade ago, Judith worked in customer service roles and spent 17 years as an NHS nurse, giving her valuable organisational, multitasking and people skills.

As a Fellow of ARLA Propertymark, the pinnacle of membership & qualifications in lettings & property management, Tracy has incredible knowledge around landlord and tenancy law and legislation.
Prior to being an independent lettings consultant, Tracy spent 25 years in lettings, and as a Lettings Manager she ran fast-paced offices, implemented and maintained legal compliance, administration processes, contractual duties and staff training.
